This performance, 20 oz, laminated wood racing paddle is an excellent choice for intermediate to high level athletes. The Grey Owl HP paddle is only 10% heavier than its carbon cousin but offers gentle flexion at the catch with a strong reactive response through the back end of the stroke that may suit some paddlers that do not need or want the excessive stiffness of a composite paddle. We’ll size it for you anywhere from 44″ to 51″ in 1/2″ increments. The laminated ash-basswood, oval grip shaft is super strong, light and stiff. The blade is composed of a 7-ply basswood-ash laminate with a durable epoxy tip. IDBF 202a approved.

This paddle is lighter and stiffer than the Club model and it is designed as an economical solution for the mid to high level paddler. The shaft is constructed of laminated ash with a bass core, an oiled maple T-grip and a cambered, 7-laminate, ash/basswood blade with an epoxy tip. IDBF 202a approved. Sizing is included anywhere from 44″ to 51″ as well as half sizes.
