Registration is now open. Practices for community-corporate teams begin April 4th.
Florida’s numero uno international race experience is back for its 20th year and, once again, athletes from around the world will be exiting the week-long Pan Am Training Camp directly into race day competition. All our standard and small boat assets will be fully dressed for this event. More than a dozen international camp teams will participate in this exciting regatta. This will absolutely be Florida’s most competitive racing event. For clubs and corporate-community teams, wide selections of race-classes are available in both 10 and 20-paddler boats. Racing Classes & Race Distances
The Tampa International Dragon Boat Festival offers a full array of racing classes in both 20-paddler standard boats and 10-paddler small boats. All available racing classes are listed on the menu to the left. The race distance is 450 meters for all straight-line races.
Accommodation and Parking
Accommodation and parking for the Tampa International Dragon Boat Festival have never been more convenient. Three hotels are located right on the shorelines of the Rocky Point Lagoon, and one additional hotel is only a five-minute walk from the athlete’s village. Call any one of these conveniently located hotels directly or book your room online using the information below.
Parking options will be plentiful although we will be keeping the Bahama Breeze lot cordoned off to accommodate their daytime customers and also to create a wide corridor leading from the athlete’s village to the marshalling area and loading docks. More information regarding parking and team equipment drop-off rules will be released in race bulletins to be published in April.
