If your team is seeking additional practices prior to the two practices offered as part of your Asia Fest dragon boat team entry, you can reserve those sessions here. Note that the two sessions included in your festival entry fee will only take place at Koka Booth Festival Lake on the Monday, Tuesday, and Friday during the week prior to race-day, September 20th. For clarity, the Lake Crabtree sessions are being presented as an additional opportunity for teams to prepare for race day. These sessions will provide you with the dragon boat, paddles, PFDs and a coach who will steer the boat and provide instruction during your practice. The cost for each session is $120.00.
STEP 1: The Lake Crabtree Dragon Boat Club is a separate entity from the festival. This means that you must register your team for this practice event opportunity in the same manner that you registered for the actual festival. Once logged in to the Pan Am registration platform, select and register for the event called “Lake Crabtree Festival Practice Session” and complete the roster of your club/team members that will attend the session(s) that you intend to purchase. Send each roster member their invite and waiver to sign.
STEP 2: Go to the Pan Am store item called “Lake Crabtree Practice Session” and pay for the number of sessions that you will be reserving.
STEP 3: Go to the Lake Crabtree Practice Calendar and select your desired date & time based on current availability. Sessions are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis for teams that have: (a) Registered for and paid their festival entry fee. (b) Registered their team in the Lake Crabtree Festival Practice Session “event” and paid for their session(s).
STEP 4: Ensure that all waivers related to your Lake Crabtree practice session registration have been signed.
STEP 5: All participants arrive at Lake Crabtree at least 20 minutes prior to your session start time. Enjoy!
